I chose to have my tickets sent Print at Home, but it says “Delayed delivery. Tickets are sent on Monday of your performance week.” What does this mean?
Boston Ballet utilizes a delayed email ticket delivery system. Delayed email ticket delivery is a period of time between the purchase and access to a ticket. When purchasing tickets online, you will get an immediate receipt from Boston Ballet for your online purchase, but your tickets with individual bar codes will be emailed to you on the Monday of your performance week. If you purchase tickets within the same week as the performance selected (after Monday), you will receive your tickets within minutes of finalizing your order.

Example of delayed ticket delivery: Tickets purchased on Oct 1 for a Dec 7 performance. Your tickets will arrive in your email inbox on Monday, December 2.

Example of immediate ticket delivery: Tickets purchased on Dec 4 for a Dec 7 performance. Your tickets will arrive in your inbox within minutes of placing your order.

Why can’t I get my tickets emailed to me right away?
A delayed email ticket delivery system offers us more control over our tickets, helps keep loyal patrons safer from scalpers and ticket brokers who buy lots of tickets and overcharge for them, and ensures the ticket email will be delivered closer to the performance date to avoid lost or missed emails. Many organizations across the country have delayed email ticket delivery systems for these same reasons.

What if I didn’t receive an email with my print-at-home tickets?
If you don’t receive your tickets within two business days of your scheduled performance, please contact the Box Office.

What if I didn’t receive an email with my print-at-home tickets?

What happens if I lose my tickets or leave them at home?

I realize I can no longer attend the performance. What can I do?
All sales are final. Subscribers can exchange tickets free of charge. All other ticket holders can exchange their tickets to another performance of the same program for $15 per ticket. If the performance you are exchanging into is more expensive, patrons are responsible to pay the difference in price. Exchanges must be done at least two business days prior to the performance.

I may have bought my tickets through a third party broker site. What do I do?
